As lead industrial designer I first developed hardware & sofware solutions from early research to launch. Later I was offered a role as head of industrial design at HP and managed an amazingly talented design & engineering team on several award-winning projects. An experience that nowadays helps me guide interdisciplinary teams in complex projects towards a common vision. During the next year, I co-founded HP’s internal innovation lab which now reports directly to global management.
HP’s current ink cartridges are over engineered, contain massive amounts of plastic and are impossible to recycle. After internal research and finding opportunities of improvement we designed a largely degradable supply platform using HP’s existing supply chain to facilitate this step towards a better world.
After collaborating with HP on the development of its first 3D printer I’m continuing to consult them to find answers to the question of “whats next in the world of industry 4.0?”
Together with a colleague I founded HP’s internal innovation lab in which ideas bypass unnecessary decision makers in order to launch experimental products fast and in small scale. I’m proud to announce that this amazing team has launched its first project.
